Bladder Troubles

Over Active Bladder (OAB)

Symptoms of Urgency, frequency with or without leakage

Stress Urinary Incontinence

Leakage of urine during coughing,effort and exertion

Painful Bladder

Pain in the lower abdomen with full bladder. Extreme version of this conditon is called interstitial cystitis

Recurrent Cystitis

Catheters Related Problems

Issues such as blockage, spasms and bypassing around the catheter that can happen in patients who have a long term catheter

Bed-wetting

This is a self limiting condition but can be very distressing for the children and parents

Acute scrotal pain

The common conditions that cause acute pain in the scrotum are:
Torsion of the testis
Acute epididymitis
Twist of the appendage to the testis.

Childhood scrotal swellings

Childhood hydrocele, childhood hernias, cysts can present with scrotal swellings in children

Childhood Urinary Infections

Childhood urinary infections should be assessed to exclude any underlying abnormalities and treated promptly

Blood in the Urine (Haematuria)

Visible/Non-visible Haematuria

Presence of visible bleeding  or non-visible blood detected by urine tests can be a manifestation of some significant underlying problems that need to be checked without any delay

Genital Problems

Foreskin Problems

This can range from tight foreskin that is present in 5% of children by age 4 to serious conditions affecting the foreskin in the adults

Scrotal Swellings

Scrotal swelling can be due to benign swellings that can be  painless or painful or malignant causes

Penile Cancer

This is a rare disease in the western world but it is a serious condition that would require timely diagnosis and treatment

Female Incontinence

Urge Incontinence

Sudden desire to pass urine, which is difficult to defer or postpone

Stress Incontinence

Leakage of using during coughing, effort and exertion

Mixed Incontinence

Combination of both urge and stress incontinence

Stones in the kidney usually does not cause any significant symptoms unless there is infection. But that have the potential to cause trouble if they move down
