Due to the unprecedented situation caused by Covid-19 (Corona Virus) infection, all NHS hospitals and major private hospitals are closed for any urology services part from emergency and cancer services (even that with limitations). We recognise pepople can suffer from other problems affecting the urinary and genital organs that could cause significant pain, distress and concern. To help such patients, we are providing private services to patients who require earlier care.
These include the following.
- Painful conditions involving your bladder or kidneys,
- Urinary infections,
- Significantly bothersome urinary symptoms,
- Inability to pass urine
- Any other conditions affecting the urinary and genital organs causing significant distress or concerns.
You need to think carefully about the risks of contracting corona virus infection if leaving home particularly so if you are aged above 70 or have any vulnerable conditions. If you are isolating due to fever or due to s family member isolating, please do not attempt to visit our clinic. If you have any concern please call us first and we will be able to advice.
We may not be able to offer any major surgical treatments requiring anaesthesia until the private hospitals open up for routine procedures. However, we may be able to help you in the meantime, by the available treatment options. If you want to have a private urologist’s consultation or opinion, please call us.
During this period, we will open usually on Thursdays or Fridays. Our staff are available on all working days to take the phone calls and arrange services as required.
